Bennington Elementary School fifth graders help pack lunches at the Meals on Wheels program Thursday. The students included handmade Halloween cards in the bags. A different grade will be asked to volunteer each holiday.

Reichblum was recognized at Sunrise's 40th annual meeting for her "substantial contribution to childhood literacy." In addition to volunteering her time, Reichblum helped create a lending library of 700 books and named Sunrise a recipient of bat mitzvah gifts.
