  • Eight decorated Bennington Banner newspaper boxes were unveiled Friday at the former Nichols building on Main Street. The boxes were decorated by Bennington College students and staff members. Christopher Oldham, the paper’s circulation sales manager, told a crowd of about 30 that the boxes are the Banner’s way of contributing to the downtown’s artistic feel. The boxes range in style from abstract patterns to images of people reading newspapers.
