Police Chief Paul Doucette said the town was preparing for the possibility that Wilmington residents, who were hard hit by floods, may need to take shelter locally. A utility worker is suspended above the Roaring Branch in Bennington. The river overflowed its banks on Sunday, forcing officials to close two bridges in the center of town. Natasha Garder, co-owner of the Crazy Russian Girls bakery, is helping to coordinate food relief for those affected by the storm.
