Route 7 tanker fire

An oil tanker went off Route 7 in Hoosick, down the embankment and into the river, where it burned. Very little of the truck remained to be extracted following the fire. A section of the road was closed to traffic for part of the afternoon. The driver, found walking along Route 7, was transported away in an ambulance and later flown to Westchester Medical Center's burn unit.
